Report: Long Island’s Hamptons Features Two of the Costliest Zip Codes in U.S. for Home Prices

Share

A new report released by RealtyHop denotes that top 20 priciest zip codes in the United States in which to live when it comes to home prices, and two of them are right here on Long Island. Where, you may ask? Obviously, that would be the beacon of wealth and luxury that is the Hamptons, of course.
The wealth in the country seems to be fairly evenly distributed between the East and West coasts; specifically, New York and California, the report says, and two zip codes in the Hamptons reflect that notable trend.
The first Long Island zip code on RealtyHop’s list – 11962, ranked in third place – is Sagaponack, where the median price of a home there is a whopping $5.9 million.
The second Long Island zip code on RealtyHop’s list – 11976, ranked in third place – is Water Mill, where the median price of a home there is an eye-popping $4,950,000.
Other notable zip codes where the prices of homes are beyond the reach of most is 10013, which is Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood in 20th place, where the median price is $3,607,500.
