Holiday House Hamptons Presented “Get On Board” to Benefit The Ellen Hermanson Foundation

Holiday House Hamptons held their new event “Get On Board”, featuring over 20 surfboards designed by local Hamptons artists, on Friday, August 11th in Bridgehampton, helping to raise critical funds for The Ellen Hermanson Foundation to fund the Breast Center at the Southampton Hospital.

The evening’s hosts included Holiday House Founder, Iris DanknerThe Ellen Hermanson Foundation Founder, Julie Ratner; and Schneps Media President, Victoria Schneps 

Over 100 guests walked through the luxury East End estate while enjoying light bites and cocktails as they admired the different artist’s surfboards. Presented by Joe Badilla of Badilla Painters and Roman Roth of Wolffer Estate, the event showcased the talents of artists including Catalina Badilla, Lindsay Bardwell, Lori Campbell, Lisa Cusano, Anahi Decanio, Jennifer De Klaver, Allison Eden, Patti Grabel, Ted Hartley, Neil Kerman, Jerome Lucani, Paton Miller, Oscar Molina, Jeff Muhs, Cindy Shaoul and Alison Stager. Each designed and donated their unique surfboard to support breast cancer research.

“Creating this event and working with each of these incredibly talented artists this summer has been a wonderful experience,” said Dankner. “Art has always been my first love so making my showhouses more art focused has been such a fulfilling endeavor. It has been an honor to be able to spotlight Hamptons local artists and most importantly be able to donate the funds from the auction to a Hamptons local charity that is very close to my heart, The Ellen Hermanson Foundation.”

Among those in attendance included Iris Dankner, Julie Ratner, Vera Wang, Lynn Blumenfeld, Enrique “Mago” Martinez, Joe Badilla, Catalina Badilla, Lindsay Bardwil, Lori Campbell, Lisa Cusano, Anahi Decanio, Jennifer De Klaver, Allison Eden, Yubal Marquez Fleitas, Patti Grabel, Ted Hartley, Jerome Lucani, Paton Miller, Oscar Molina, Jeff Muhs, Cindy Shaoul and Alison Stager.

All of the surfboards are currently on display in Holiday House’s auction gallery at 279 Mitchell Lane in Bridgehampton. Bids for the surfboards can be done through CharityBuzz.com from now through August 31st.

Founded by interior designer and breast cancer survivor Iris Dankner in 2008, Holiday House is an interior design showhouse in which top interior designers and lifestyle brands can showcase their talent. All proceeds from Holiday House events benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and the Ellen Hermanson Foundation.
