Share

As part of a statewide effort to increase the number of volunteer firefighters in New York, the RecruitNY statewide campaign will kick off with a press conference at the Babylon Town Hall in Lindenhurst, NY.
Officials from the Firefighter’s Association of the State of New York (FASNY) along with local Town of Babylon volunteer firefighters will speak at a press conference which will outline events taking place during the RecruitNY annual recruitment event weekend starting April 23.
During the RecruitNY weekend, volunteer fire departments across the state will open their doors to their community to educate the public about what it takes to become a volunteer firefighter. CLICK HERE for a list of fire departments participating in RecruitNY Weekend.

Established in 2011, RecruitNY is a joint undertaking by the Firemen’s Association of the State of New York (FASNY), the New York State Association of Fire Chiefs (NYSAFC), Association of Fire Districts of New York State, Volunteer Fire Police Association of the State of New York, and County Fire Coordinators Association of the State of New York.
