On Monday, Jan. 18, Nassau County Executive Laura Curran – who is currently quarantining due to potential exposure to someone with COVID-19 – virtually swore in 25 recruits for Nassau’s Corrections Academy. Waiting ahead for these recruits are 14 weeks of rigorous training required to become a Nassau County Corrections Officer.
