SCPD To Host Drive-Thru Food Drive To Benefit Local Food Pantries on Friday, May 1

The Suffolk County Police Department and the Suffolk County Association of Women Police will host a drive-thru food drive at multiple locations throughout the county to collect food and other items to donate to local food pantries on Friday, May 1.

Donations will be collected between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. and all donations must be in bags prior to arrival. Suggested items include canned meats and vegetables, rice, pasta, personal hygiene products, baby items and gift cards.

Volunteers will also collect donations to supply to hospital staff including protein snacks/drinks, candy and other individually packed items. These items should be packed separately from donations made to benefit food pantries and clearly marked.
