Arrow Security, one of the nation’s leading providers of physical security solutions, celebrated its 40 th Anniversary with a commemorative Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at their Long Island Corporate Headquarters on Thursday, October 16, 2025, honoring four decades of unwavering commitment to safety, service and the communities they represent.
After being wounded in the line of duty, retired New York City Police Officer Edward Ahrens founded Arrow Security Patrons in 1985 and continued to build his business over the next decade before deteriorating health forced him to retire. AJ Caro first purchased the company in 1995 with two partners to form what is now known as Arrow Security. During the next decade, he acquired sole ownership of the company, still serving as Chief Executive Officer.
After being introduced, Caro welcomed a distinguished audience of special guests, executive leadership, community partners, and members of the team at Arrow Security, and delivered an inspiring address reflecting on the company’s history and future.
“This milestone is a celebration of the people who have built this company and the trust we’ve earned from those we serve,” said Caro. “As we reflect on 40 years of excellence, Arrow Security looks forward to continuing its tradition of innovation, integrity and service across the many industries and communities we are proud to protect. The long list of distinguished guests and elected officials in attendance is a true testament to the impact Arrow has made and the strong relationships we’ve built.”
