Team Schein Members (TSMs) recently came together at Henry Schein, Inc.’s corporate headquarters for a fun-filled day of connection and giving back to the local community. TSMs rolled up their sleeves and assembled 1,100 hygiene kits to donate to Island Harvest Food Bank, a leading hunger-relief organization dedicated to ending hunger and reducing food waste across the region. Filled with personal care items, the donated kits complement Island Harvest’s vital work by supplying families in need with essential, non-food items.

TSMs also wrapped 100 gifts for underserved children on Long Island as part of Henry Schein’s Holiday Cheer program. Through Henry Schein Cares, the Company’s global corporate citizenship program, this initiative helps brighten the holidays by providing families in need with toys, clothing, and gift cards throughout December.

The gifts will be distributed to local social service agencies, including Family Service League, Madonna Heights (SCO), Raymar Children’s Fund, WellLife Network, and YES Community Counseling Center. Henry Schein will also provide 300 Target gift cards to additional local agencies, including Bethany House, Espoir Youth Program, Family Children’s Association, Family Service League, Hispanic Counseling Center, and Social Service League.
