One Long Island’s bank account is a cool $50,000 fatter after scoring a winning New York State Lottery ticket.
The third prize-winning ticket in question was for the Powerball drawing that was held on Wednesday, May 1, and it was purchased at Jeel Convenience located at 1197 Sunrise Highway in Bay Shore, Lottery officials said.
