Helen Keller Services Hosts Tech Blitz 2024 May 16 in Port Washington, NY

Helen Keller Services (HKS) will host its annual Tech Blitz 2024 showcasing the future of assistive technology on May 16, 2024 @ 10am-5pm at the Helen Keller National Center, located at 141 Middle Neck Rd, Port Washington, NY 11050. 

This unique event which is free to the public will feature cutting-edge innovations from leading companies dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals who are blind, DeafBlind, or have low vision.

“In today’s world, technology is more than just a convenience – it’s a vital tool for independence, communication, and engagement. For those who are blind, DeafBlind, or have low vision, it opens up new avenues for independence, employment, and community involvement,” said Ruth Fuller, Supervisor, Adaptive Technology Department, HKNC.

Tech Blitz 2024 is designed to introduce the latest breakthroughs that can transform daily living and foster a supportive community for learning, sharing, and growth.
