The Homicide Squad reports the details of a Fatal Vehicular Accident involving a pedestrian that occurred on Sunday, February 25, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. in Lynbrook.
According to Detectives, a female pedestrian, 71, was walking northbound on Broadway crossing over Sunrise Highway when she was struck by a 2019 Cadillac XT5 being driven by a 54-year-old female.
The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced by hospital staff. The driver remained on scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
