The Homicide Squad reports the details of a Fatal Aided that occurred on Monday, February 26, 2024 at 10:58 am in Hempstead.
According to detectives, police responded to a 911 call for a male not breathing at 12 Maryland Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 61-year-old male in an upstairs bedroom with a blunt force trauma injury to his head. The aided was pronounced at scene by a North Shore LIJ medic at 11:03 am. The investigation is ongoing.
