NCPD: Suspects Go Joyriding in Car Stolen Out of New Hyde Park Driveway, Abandons Vehicle in Brooklyn

The Third Squad reports on a Grand Larceny that occurred on Monday, February 12, 2024 at 4:43 a.m. in North New Hyde Park.
According to Detectives, two unknown subjects in dark clothing removed a 2022 black Subaru Ascent Touring from a driveway of a residential home on Park Circle. The subjects fled the scene in the vehicle heading eastbound toward Sperry Boulevard.
The victim was able to track the vehicle through their cell phone and the unoccupied vehicle was recovered at 243 East 57th Street, East Flatbush. The investigation is ongoing. There is no further description of the subjects.
