Long Island To Host This Year’s International Jewish Teen Summit

Share

Long Island’s NYCB Theater will be the focal point for a global assembly as over 3,000 Jewish teens from 54 countries converge for the annual CTeen International Summit. In a direct response to the escalating challenges of antisemitism, the summit offers a platform for the proactive youth of today.
Highlighting the weekend is the Mega Concert and Awards Ceremony with Gad Elbaz, where remarkable stories of bravery and community impact will be brought to light. The event will also celebrate the extraordinary efforts of teens who have risen to counter antisemitism with Jewish pride and have initiated influential projects for their peers.
“CTeen aims to cultivate young leaders who are both passionate about their heritage and willingly able to share its beauty with their fellow teens,” remarks Rabbi Mendy Kotlarsky, of CTeen International. “We are seeing teens develop real confidence in their Jewish identity and respond to these trying times by taking on real leadership roles.”
The summit will host a delegation of 200 Israeli teens, including survivors from the Nova massacre, symbolizing the unyielding strength and determination of the global Jewish community.
The theme “Count On Me” resonates deeply, emphasizing every individual’s potential to make a meaningful difference. The event hopes to inspire future generations of Jewish leaders by featuring teens who have responded to hate with positive action, making a tremendous difference in their communities back home and across the globe.
