On Sunday 01/14/24 at about 11:43pm Town Police responded to a report of a man with a knife at 40 East Ln, Quiogue. Officers arrived and determined that a dispute had occurred at that location resulting in PEDRO SAMANIEGO AGE 34, OF HAMPTON BAYS chasing another subject with a kitchen knife.
SAMANIEGO was arrested as a result. Additionally, incident to arrest Samaniego was found in possession of a quantity of cocaine. He was taken to HQ in Hampton Bays for processing and was charged with:
- Menacing 2nd
- Criminal Possession Of a Weapon 4th
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th (all misdemeanors)
Samaniego was held for morning arraignments.
