NCPD: 87-Year-Old Pedestrian Injured After Struck by Vehicle While Crossing Farmingdale Street

Eighth Squad Detectives report the details of a Vehicular Accident that occurred on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at 6:25 pm in Farmingdale.
According to officers, a male pedestrian, 87, was crossing south to north on Fulton Street in the vicinity of Nelson Street and was struck by a 2008 Mazda traveling westbound on Fulton Street.
The male suffered injuries to his right arm and chest. He was airlifted by Nassau County Police Helicopter 6 to an area hospital for treatment.
The male operator, 25, was not injured and remained at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
