Famed Tonight Show host and comedian Jimmy Fallon took a moment away from dining out with his family at a Long Island eatery to surprise a young boy celebrating his birthday at a nearby table, according to a post on the Glen Cove Neighbors Facebook group.
Fallon, 49, had been spotted at Sweet Mandarin restaurant, located at 18 Cottage Row in Glen Cove, on the evening of Saturday, December 2, according to the author of the post, which noted that the Saturday Night Live alum took the time to come over their table to join in on their birthday factitive.
“We saw Jimmy Fallon at Sweet Mandarin tonight having dinner with his family. Such a nice guy,” the post said. “He came over to the family eating next to us to wish the birthday boy happy birthday and even took pictures with the family and friends.”
It would seem that Fallon is a fan of the Glen Cove dining scene, as in January he was also spotted eating at the Glen Cove Diner at 187 Glen Street.
