One lucky Long Islanders Bank account is now full to the brim after hitting it big with a winning New York State Lottery ticket that officially made them $150,000 richer.
A Powerball ticket sold for the Monday, December 11 drawing was sold at the JackSpot! Deli & Lotto located at 534 William Floyd Parkway in Shirley. The ticket ultimately ended up netting the individual who purchased it the third prize, which almost assuredly really made their day.
The winner has one year to claim their prize money from the drawing date.
