The Homicide Squad reports the details of a Fire that occurred on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at 6:07 a.m. in Hicksville.
According to Detectives, Officers responded to a house fire located on 9th Street. Upon arrival, Officers observed the home to be fully engulfed in flames. The Hicksville Fire Department along with several additional Fire Departments arrived and extinguished the fire. A resident inside of the home was pronounced on scene by a Nassau County Police Medic.
There were no other occupants inside of the home.
There were approximately 120 firefighters on scene and no additional injuries were reported.
The Homicide Squad Detectives, Arson Bomb Squad Detectives and the Nassau County Fire Marshall all responded to scene.
