The Seventh Squad reports the details of a Burglary that occurred on Thursday, November 23, 2023 at 2:21 am in Bellmore.
According to Detectives, Seventh Precinct officers responded to Speedway, located at 2670 Merrick Road, for a Commercial Burglary. Upon police arrival it was determined that an unknown person had damaged the front door with a crow bar and entered the business.
Further investigation revealed that an undetermined amount of US currency had been removed from the cash register by the unknown subject who then fled on foot westbound towards South St. Marks Avenue. The investigation is ongoing.
The subject is described as a male, wearing black pants, black shoes, green mask and a green winter jacket.
