Revolutionary War living history organizations on Long Island need your help! Our memberships are down! Recruitment has been stagnant! And we are at the doorstep of the 250th Anniversary of the birth of our nation! We need help!
Over the next decade, there will be a myriad of living history events commemorating the 250th anniversary of many historical events and battles. We are putting out a desperate plea to the public at large on Long Island – If you are interested in Revolutionary War Reenacting, please contact us and join us as soon as possible! The public must know that we need help, but they should also know how much fun living history is and how important participating in these events will be. WE NEED YOU TO HELP US SPREAD THE WORD!
This press event will be held in partnership with the three Revolutionary War reenacting organizations based on Long Island (all non-profit, volunteer organizations):

- 3rd New York Regiment, Long Island Companies (3rd NY Regiment)
