Suffolk County Police today arrested a Brentwood man who charged a North Bellport man for home repairs and never completed the work.
A North Bellport man notified police on November 13 that in October, he hired Francis Warner, of Warner Brothers Air Max HVAC, to do work on his home and Warner, the owner of the company, agreed to a cash payment of $3,850 and never returned to complete the work.
Warner, 41, of 92 First St. Brentwood, was arrested during a traffic stop in Brentwood at 11 a.m. Fifth Squad detectives charged Warner with Grand Larceny 3rd Degree. He is being held overnight at the Fifth Precinct and will be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on November 22.
Detectives are asking anyone who may have been a victim of Warner to call the Fifth Squad at 631-854-8538.

A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
