Rocky Point resident Todd Greenstein, 53, is a cool $1 million richer and the avowed foodie is planning on using his considerable winnings to enjoy some high-end takeout food, according to his social media posts.
Greenstein hit it bigg when he purchased a winning VIP Millions scratch-off game from Prabhu Cards & Gifts at 460 Country Road in Manorville, said New York Lottery officials, who noted that the lucky Long Islander will be receiving his proceeds in the form of a lump sum of $651,000 after taxes.
Prior to the announcement of his big win, Greenstein posted on the Long Island Foodies Facebook group, asking for some suggestions regarding dining fare, driving speculation that he was looking for just the right celebratory meal.
“Looking for the best Chinese takeout between Port Jefferson and Wading River,” he said. “If they have sushi too that would be a plus!”
