Mega Millions Ticket Worth a Cool $1 Million Sold at New Hyde Park Convenience Store

New York State Lottery officials announced on this week that one fortunate Long Island resident may be a cool $1 million richer this week after they confirmed that a winning Mega Millions ticket was sold at a convenience store in New Hyde Park.

The ticket was purchased at Cumberland Farms at 2201 New Hyde Park Road, and netted its owner the second-place prize during the official drawing held on Tuesday, August 22.

Mega Millions is currently offered in 45 states, and is drawn at 11 pm Eastern Time on Tuesday and Friday evenings, including holidays.
