One Long Islanders is nearly $20,000 richer this week after a Commack business sold them a winning Take 5 lottery ticket.
The ticket, which was for the midday drawing on Thursday, August 17, is worth a cool $19,335, according to New York State Lottery officials, and was sold at Commack South Stationery located at 22 Vanderbilt Motor Parkway.
The winner has up to one year to claim their money.
