The First Squad reports the details of an Assault that occurred on Friday, June 9, 2023 at 8:24 am in Baldwin.
According to detectives, a male victim, 60, was standing in line at the Walgreens pharmacy located at 1968 Grand Avenue in Baldwin, when an unknown male suspect approached the victim from behind and punched him in the face. The suspect then entered a black 4 door sedan and fled the scene in an unknown direction.
The victim was transported to a local area hospital for treatment of his injuries.
The unknown male suspect is described as a male black, approximately six feet tall, thin build, short dreadlocks style hair, wearing glasses, a black T-shirt, dark jeans and black sneakers.
The investigation is ongoing.
