Suffolk County Police yesterday arrested three women for unlawful practice of a profession during a massage parlor raid in West Islip.
In response to uniform patrol, and community quality of life complaints, Third Precinct Crime Section, Community Response Unit officers and Third Squad detectives, in conjunction with the Town of Islip Fire Marshal, conducted an investigation into Oxygen Foot Spa, located at 276 Higbie Lane, at approximately 4:30 p.m.
Following an investigation, Wanting Qui, 51, of Flushing, and Xiuhua Liu, 47, of Flushing were charged with Unauthorized Practice of a Profession, a felony. Danping Yu, 49, of Amityville, was charged with Unauthorized Practice of a Profession and Criminal Nuisance 2nd Degree.
The arrestees are scheduled to appear at First District Court in Central Islip at a later date.
