Share

Didit, an integrated marketing and communications agency, recently announced the promotion of two key executives, Heidi Zafran and Cecilia Fernandes. The promotions are effective March 30, 2023.
Heidi has been promoted to the position of Chief Operating Officer, following her accomplishments as Vice President and, prior to that, Director of Human Resources. A 16-year veteran of the firm, Heidi has been involved in every aspect of the employee life cycle and prides herself on the solid relationships she has developed internally, as well as with service providers and vendors. In her new role as COO, Heidi will oversee day-to-day operational business functions while continuing to serve as a trusted partner to department heads.
“Heidi has long been the glue that that holds the company together, both for Didit’s employees and for senior management,” said Eric Wiggins, Didit’s CEO. “She has been a champion for recruiting and retaining top talent, as well as emphasizing the importance of career development by advocating for promotions within the organization. Heidi has been consistently proactive in looking for ways to help the business while taking steps to continually improve the workplace. She has a strong business acumen and will be able to implement the company vision, making her the very definition of a Chief ‘Operating’ Officer.”
Cecilia Fernandes has been promoted to Senior Financial Officer. Cecilia joined Didit in 2005 as Finance Manager and was promoted to Controller in 2011. In 2016 her role significantly broadened to include oversight of Didit’s Tech department; during the Covid-19 pandemic she served as the sole point of contact for handling the PPP loan and was deeply involved in ensuring business continuity. In her new role, Cecilia will continue to lead the Finance department, ensuring that payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting all run smoothly while managing audits, annual corporate tax filings, business insurance, 401K, and regulatory reporting and compliance functions.
“Heidi and Cecilia have forged a strong partnership that has enabled them to work together on many mission-critical business initiatives, including but not limited to analysis and decisions for annual company benefits, onboarding companies via acquisitions, and all logistics associated with three office moves,” said Didit Executive Chairman Kevin Lee. “Both manage functions that are critical to the overall success of the company, and we are very pleased to be able to recognize and reward their contributions with these promotions.”
