The Seventh Squad reports the arrest of a Massapequa man for a Robbery that occurred on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at 8:20 pm in Massapequa.
According to detectives, officers responded to the Budget Inn, located at 400 Carman Mill Road for a male subject who entered the victim’s room and displayed a knife demanding money.
The victim, 34, complied and the defendant left scene. No injuries were reported.
Upon police arrival, Defendant Francisco Jacob Soto, 25, of 400 Carman Mill Road was located and placed into custody without incident.
The Defendant Soto is being charged with Robbery 1st Degree, Burglary 1st Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree. He will be arraigned on Thursday, March 16, 2023 in First District Court 99 Main Street Hempstead.
