Syosset High School Teacher Dan Wohl to Appear on “Jeopardy!” Episode Tonight

Dan Wohl, a social studies teacher at Syosset High School on Long Island, will be appearing on an upcoming episode of the long-running television game show quiz competition “Jeopardy!”

The episode – already having been filmed and set to air tonight, Wednesday, February 8 – will feature Wohl, a Forest Hills, Queens resident, as he attempts to answer (in the form of a question!) the queries supplied by host Ken Jennings.

Wohl said that the experience with Jeopardy! was “amazing, thrilling all around,” and when asked if he had any secrets when it comes to game show success on Jeopardy!, Wohl said that it’s all in the reflexes.

“Most contestants know most of the answers. It’s making sure you time the buzzer right that makes the most difference I think,” he said. “Also, unless it’s a category you are extremely uneasy about, be bold on Daily Double wagers!”

Jeopardy! airs Monday through Friday at 7 p.m. on WABC.
