The Public Information Office reports the details of a fire that occurred on Monday, February 27, 2023 at 12:05 p.m. in Woodmere.
According to Detectives, Officers responded to 654 Church Avenue for reports of a house fire.
Multiple Fire Departments arrived to extinguish the fire including: Woodmere, Lawrence/Cedarhurst, Inwood, Meadowmere, and Rockville Centre.
The fire was extinguished which was caused by workers hired to fix a plumbing problem in the residence. No injuries were reported.
The Nassau County Fire Marshal was on scene. The investigation is ongoing.
