Suffolk County Police report that a man was on the tracks was struck at the Brentwood Long Island Rail Road Station by a train bound for Penn Station this morning.
The incident took place at 12:55 a.m. Friday morning, police say; the man was rushed to a local area hospital where his condition is currently unknown.
MTA police are investigating the incident.
