According to the Riverhead Police Department, a man was found dead outside of the Express Deli & Café on Osborn Avenue early Tuesday Morning, February 14, by employees of the establishment as they arrived for work.
Police were called at approximately 3:30 a.m. to report the deceased individual – identified as Alberto Munoz Noj, 44 – who was found slumped against the front outside wall of the deli.
Paramedics quickly transported the man to Peconic Bay Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, officials say.
Currently, authorities do not suspect any foul play, but the investigation is ongoing. Riverhead Police request that anyone with information please call 631-727-4500.
