Five Nassau County Bed, Bath & Beyond Stores Set to Close Amid Chain’s Cost-Cutting Measures

Five Bed, Bath & Beyond stores in Nassau County are slated to be permanently closed due to cost-cutting measures amid the company’s ongoing financial difficulties, reports say.

The retailer has just announced that 87 of their stores nationwide – including 27 in New York – are being shuttered in 2023; Bed, Bath & Beyond has scheduled multiple locations throughout the country to close since mid-2022, including all of its Harmon beauty shops.

The stores in Nassau County that are being closed are as follows:

  • Harmon at 167 Old Country Road in Carle Place
  • Harmon at 806 Hicksville Road in Massapequa
  • Harmon at 530 Jericho Turnpike in Mineola
  • Bed, Bath & Beyond at 1490 Union Turnpike in New Hyde Park
  • Harmon at 1119 Old Country Road in Plainview

“This store fleet reduction expands the Company’s ongoing closure program of approximately 150 lower-producing Bed Bath & Beyond banner stores,” the retailer said in a statement to Axios.
