The Sixth Squad reports the arrest of a New Jersey man and two Juveniles for a Grand Larceny that occurred on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 10:20 am in Lake Success.
According to Detectives, The New Jersey State Police were monitoring a stolen vehicle from New Jersey, which was found to be in the area of Lake Success. Lake Success officers were dispatched to canvass the area.
While officers were canvassing, a Lake Success resident called 911 to alert police that her 2021 Land Rover had just been stolen out of her garage. After a thorough multi-jurisdictional investigation the New York City Police Department located both vehicles on the Verrazano Bridge and all three defendants were placed into police custody without incident.
Defendant Jabir Robinson, 18, of 91 South 14th Street, Newark is charged with Burglary 2nd Degree, Grand Larceny 2nd Degree, Criminal Facilitation 3rd Degree, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 3rd Degree and Conspiracy 3rd Degree.
He was arraigned on Monday, January 9, 2023 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead. Juvenile one is charged with Burglary 2nd Degree and Grand Larceny 2nd Degree. He was released with a Family Court Appearance ticket with a return date of Tuesday, January 17th, 2023.
Juvenile two, is charged with Burglary 2nd Degree, Grand Larceny 2nd Degree and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 3rd Degree. He was arraigned as an adolescent respondent on Monday, January 9, 2023 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
