NCPD: Bayville Man Arrested for Driving Drunk with Three Children in Vehicle

The Nassau County Police Department reports the details of a DWI Leandra’s Law arrest that occurred on Monday, January 9, 2023 in Glen Head.
According to Police, Officers responded to an auto accident that occurred at 12 Robert Road and observed a 2022 Honda Pilot had struck a parked 2005 Kia.
The Honda was occupied with a male driver, 33, and three juveniles ages 7, 2 and 6 months of age.  Officers spoke with the driver and observed the occupants did not have any injuries.
Subsequent to the investigation the driver was arrested without incident for Driving While Intoxicated.
The children were released to their mother, who had responded to the scene.  The vehicle was impounded from the scene.
Defendant Cornelio BonillaVillatoro of 9 Bay Beach Avenue Bayville was charged with multiple counts of Driving While Intoxicated and Aggravated DWI Leandra’s Law along with multiple Vehicle and Traffic Law violations.
The Defendant was arraigned on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 in First District Court 99 Main Street Hempstead.
