Arlo Kitchen and Bar opened last month in the space that once held the Crestwood Manor banquet hall in Northport.
This new restaurant is offering a multi-level dining experience that patrons are saying is classic, cozy, and most of all delicious. Plenty of seating is available on both levels and the outdoor patio promised more once the weather warms up.
The menu reflects the atmosphere with a full array of dishes from standard steaks, roasted chicken, pork chops and a beef bourguignon pot pie with braised short rib, red wine, potato carrots, onions, bacon, and mushroom. Prices, like the menu itself, tend toward the higher end of the dining experience. Reviewers are raving about their lobster pappardelle, with big chipmunks of lobster, so no skimping on portions here.
On Yelp, Gail S, from Oceanside, gave it five stars.
“This place is so welcome to the community,” she said. “Great service. So friendly… My new go to.”
Kyle S, from Seaford, agreed.
