The Third Squad reports on the arrest of three New Jersey men for a Grand Larceny that occurred on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at 1:40 AM in Roslyn Heights.
According to Detectives, three subjects operating a 2006 green Pontiac G6 stopped near a residence located on Field Lane and walked up to a BMW parked in the driveway. They entered the vehicle and attempted to start it, but were unsuccessful. The subjects took a black Canada Goose jacket from the BMW before fleeing the scene in their Pontiac G6.
A short time later, Third Squad Detectives located the Pontiac G6 driving westbound on the LIE and conducted a Vehicle and Traffic Law stop near exit 34. Defendants Tyquan Meadows, 24 of 112 Boylan Street, Newark, Nasir Solomon, 18 of 39 N Burnett Street, East Orange and Nasir Usher, 23 of 43 Eder Terrace, South Orange were all placed under arrest without incident.
Defendant’s Tyquan Meadows, Nasir Solomon and Nasir Usher are all charged with Grand Larceny 4th degree, Attempted Grand Larceny 2nd degree and Conspiracy 4th degree.
Defendant Tyquan Meadows is additionally charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree and Operating a Motor Vehicle by an Unlicensed Driver.
All three defendants were arraigned on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at First District Court, located at 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
