The First Squad reports on an Arrest of a California man for the Criminal Possession of a Firearm that occurred on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at 8:50 AM in East Meadow.
According to Detectives, Police were dispatched for a disturbance in which a male subject had displayed a firearm in the hallway at the Coliseum Motor Inn, located at 1650 Hempstead Turnpike.
Upon arrival, an investigation was conducted and Officers were able to locate defendant Miguel Lara, 31, of 321 El Camino Drive, Delano. After further investigation, a loaded Sig-Saur pistol was located in his hotel room. Defendant Miguel Lara was placed under arrest without further incident.
Defendant Miguel Lara is charged with the Criminal Possession of a Firearm. He will be arraigned on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at First District Court, located at 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
