Nicky’s on the Bay, a popular bayside restaurant in Bay Shore featuring a fish-centric menu and live music, closed their doors for business for the last time on Monday, October 10.
Nicky’s on the Bay held a customer appreciation day on Monday to mark their last day, offering 50 percent discounts on food and drinks as a means of expressing their thanks to their loyal customers, with the profits going to a severance package for the restaurant’s staff.
According to owner Nick Parini he has sold the eatery to another party, although plans on the part of the new ownership concerning the future of the Nicky’s on the Bay are currently not known.
