Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Seventh Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the driver of a vehicle that left the scene of a three-vehicle crash in October.
A man driving an SUV rear-ended a Toyota pickup truck while traveling southbound on William Floyd Parkway, near the intersection of Flower Hill Drive, at approximately 3:20 p.m. on October 3. The crash caused the pickup truck to spin into another lane and strike the passenger side door of a Nissan Rogue. One person was transported to an area hospital for evaluation.
The driver of the SUV fled the scene southbound on William Floyd Parkway. The vehicle is possibly a brown Mitsubishi Outlander with a newer model New York State license plate. The driver is believed to be a white male.
