Suffolk Police: Selden Man Arrested for DWI Following Fatal Crash

Suffolk County Police have arrested a Selden man for driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle crash that killed a woman on Monday, August 15.
Anthony Milano was driving a 2018 Subaru westbound on Clearview Avenue, just east of Blue Point Road, in Farmingville at approximately 2:15 a.m. when his vehicle struck a parked, unoccupied 2015 Chevrolet van and then a tree.
Paige Swiecicki, 30, of East Patchogue, who was seated in the rear of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene. Scott Johnson, 30, of Selden, the front seat passenger, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Milano, 31, was charged with Driving While Intoxicated. He was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries and his arraignment date is pending due to medical treatment.
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
