The Long Island Craft Classic will return to the picturesque Heckscher State Park on Saturday, August 13, 2022 for what promises to be summer’s best beer, wine, and cider tasting celebration. This tasting event is one of Long Island’s longest-running and best fests—showcasing local hometown favorites, award-winning American craft breweries, international trend-setters, and more. “The Long Island Craft Classic is back and better than ever! It’s been awhile since we have been able to return to Heckscher State Park and it warms our hearts to get a chance to see all of our volunteers, brewers, attendees and long-time friends again,”said Andy Calimano, owner of the production company, Starfish Junction. “I can’t think of a more beautiful setting than Heckscher State Park to enjoy BBQ, beers and friends.”
Representing local producers will be some of Long Island’s most-loved distributors, including Synergy Brew Project, Spider Bite and DUBCO . A variety of national and international distributors will also join in for the day’s festivities, including: Mahou, Alhambra, and San Miguel from Spain. Hailing from Massachusetts ,Exhibit “A” Brewing Company , will be returning to the event this year as they have since our first Long Island Craft Classic back in 2016. Other members at large in attendance this year include 2022 New York State Craft Beer Gold Medalist Ebbs, Live Nation partner Fountain and recent Empire State Development grant recipients Sloop Brewing.
The Long Island Craft Classic is an amazing showcase for local breweries, wineries, and cider makers from around the corner and around the world. Tickets are $70pp (plus tax/fees) and include a barbeque sandwich, beer, wine, and cider sampling. Designated driver tickets are also available ($20pp). This is a 21+ event. Valid photo identification is required by all attendees for admission.
