Transervice Logistics Partners with United Way of Long Island to Help Families in Need During COVID-19 Pandemic

Share

Transervice Logistics Inc., a leading provider of customized fleet maintenance and leasing solutions, partnered with United Way of Long Island to respond to the needs of local families experiencing unparalleled hardship during the COVID-19 pandemic. As one of the organization’s community partners, Transervice helped to provide assistance to over 6,000 people receiving financial support from United Way of Long Island, including families, individuals, young mothers with newborns and healthcare responders.

During the transition to recovery and rebuilding, the Long Island chapter will remain active to help lift the region’s economy and pay especially close attention to those individuals and families who are most vulnerable and at risk, including seniors and veterans.

“Transervice was looking for ways to support our local community during the pandemic and United Way’s Response and Recovery Program offered the immediate assistance and experienced delivery of services that so many people were in need of, given the abrupt turn of events this past March,” said Sean Schnipper, Marketing and Social Media Manager. “We were happy we could be a small part of the solution.”
