Share

The Nassau County Traffic and Parking Violations Agency (TPVA) will reopen to the public for scheduled court dates or scheduled appointments on Monday October 5, 2020 at 9:00 am.

All visitors must have a scheduled court date or a scheduled appointment. Visitors can check their scheduled court date and time by visiting Nassau County’s Traffic & Parking Violations Agency website at: Nassaucountyny.gov/TPVA

Motorists not scheduled for a future court date, or have missed a court date, will be able to begin scheduling appointments online by October 5. At this time, walk-ins are not being accepted at TPVA.

TPVA premises have been modified to be in compliance with CDC guidelines, including social distancing requirements. Hand sanitizers and plexiglass have been installed in areas accessed by the public. There will be limited occupancy at TPVA which will reduce lines and waiting time for visitors. All areas will be cleaned and disinfected daily. The public areas will be cleaned and disinfected repeatedly during the day.

  • All visitors must wear a face covering at all times and maintain a distance of 6 feet from others while at TPVA whenever possible. Face coverings include cloth, surgical masks, N-95 respirators, or face shields. Visitors will not be permitted entry without a face covering.
  • Visitors should not visit TPVA if you have traveled within 14-days of your visit to a state with significant community spread of COVID-19. For a current list of restricted states, visitors should Check the NYS Department of Health Restricted State List at: Coronavirus.health.ny.gov/covid-19-travel-advisory
  • All visitors must complete a health screening, available for download on TPVA’s homepage, prior to entry to the building on the day of the visit.

Visitors should be prepared to provide proof of scheduled court appointment and completed Health Screening Assessment. Please plan on arriving at TPVA at least 15 minutes prior to your appointment to allow time for parking and checking in.
