Master-at-Arms 3rd Class Savannah Barnosky, from Long Island, New York, recently received a plaque from Capt. Ken Crowe, commanding officer of Camp Lemonnier in recognition of her selection as Camp Lemmonier’s Reserve Blue Jacket of the Quarter for the second quarter of fiscal year 2020.

The Reserve Blue Jacket is an award to recognize sailors in the U.S. Navy for their outstanding and professional performance during the fiscal year.

Camp Lemonnier is an operational installation located in Africa’s Republic of Djibouti that enables U.S., allied and partner nation forces to be where and when they are needed to ensure security in Europe, Africa and Southwest Asia. It is the only permanent U.S. military base in Africa.
