Drive-Thru Coronavirus Testing Site Opens in Southampton

Share

Congressman Lee Zeldin (R, NY-1), member of the bipartisan White House Opening Up America Again Congressional Group and bipartisan Congressional Coronavirus Task Force, recently joined Village of Southampton Mayor Jesse Warren for the opening of the fifth drive-thru testing facility in New York’s FIrst Congressional District at HRHCare Kraus Family Health Center at 330 Meeting House Lane in Southampton. Testing is free, but appointments are necessary. Long Islanders who wish to be tested should call 845-553-8030.

This testing center was in part made possible by the Hamptons Health Society which raised $20,000 in local donations to help fund the operations of the testing facility and provide free testing to any uninsured resident in need of financial assistance.

“The East End has been hit hard by the ongoing outbreak of coronavirus, and providing additional testing facilities is critical to continuing to combat this pandemic,” said Congressman Zeldin. “It was great to be able to thank those who made this testing site possible, and the hardworking healthcare workers who continue to serve our community at this drive-thru location.”
