Share

Nassau County Executive Laura Curran and Commissioner of Police Patrick J. Ryder designated fifteen (15) Detectives Second Grade with approximately 411 years of combined investigative experience to the newly formed rank of Detective First Grade during a designation ceremony.

This newly appointed rank was the outcome of negotiations by Nassau County and the Detectives Association to acknowledge each investigator’s individual experience, expertise, and talents. The event was downsized due to COVID-19 and held virtually in order to safely celebrate Nassau County PD members that play a critical role in making Nassau the safest in America.
