Today, the FealGood Foundation, IHOP Riverhead, and 9/11 attorneys Barasch McGarry arranged for the delivery of a breakfast feast for the hard working men and women of the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office.

The delivery of eggs, bacon, French toast, coffee, juice, and, of course, pancakes, was delivered by the Riverhead International House of Pancakes to the correction officers and deputies at the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office. John Feal, founder of the FealGood Foundation, was present to help deliver this thank you meal.

John Feal, a 9/11 first responder, contracted the coronavirus himself. He said contracting the virus was like “getting hit by a bus and then being backed up by that bus over and over again. [It] just makes me want to do more for others,” he says about helping get supplies for first responders.

Suffolk County Sheriff Errol D. Toulon, Jr. was there to receive the donation and thank John Feal in person. “I’ve known John personally for over a decade and I know how passionate he is about helping first responders. I appreciate the FealGood Foundation, IHOP, and Barasch McGarry’s thoughtful gesture of this beautiful breakfast for our staff. They work hard every day, both inside the facility and in the community, and this type of recognition goes a long way to help boost morale.”
