Long Island native and former professional athlete Marcus Damas has officially launched Fueled by Culture Sports, a new athlete representation agency designed to help today’s athletes build long-term wealth, brand equity, and business legacy both on and off the field of play.
The launch event, held at 74 Wythe Rooftop in Brooklyn, brought together some of the biggest names in sports and business — including Master P, Jeff Teague and the Club 520 Podcast, NBA Trainer Chris Johnson, and ESPN’s Paul Biancardi — for a live conversation on branding, NIL, and the future of athlete empowerment. The night also featured a surprise performance by Bobby Shmurda.
Damas, who was born and raised in Bay Shore, Long Island, has spent the last decade building a powerful reputation in brand strategy and contract negotiation — working with major names like Wyclef Jean, Quincy Jones, Tobias Harris, Daymond John, and companies like JPMorgan Chase, EA Sports, Pizza Hut, and HBO. Now, he’s turning that experience into a full-service sports agency focused on athletes who want to create ownership-driven futures.
“I want to represent athletes the way I wish I had been represented,” said Damas. “Not just in contracts, but in business moves, brand growth, and long-term positioning. I’m building this agency with legacy in mind.” Fueled by Culture Sports is now onboarding select NIL clients, NBA/WNBA players, and NFL talent, offering full-service athlete representation, brand development, and deal negotiation with long-term vision at its core.
Damas credits his late mentor, Junior Bridgeman — a former NBA player turned billionaire business mogul — for reshaping his view on wealth and purpose. “He showed me what it means to move from success to significance,” Damas shared. “Now I’m here to help athletes do the same.”
With deep Long Island roots and national relationships, Damas is poised to put Fueled by Culture Sports on the map as a top-tier destination for the next generation of impactful athletes.
