Missing Persons Squad Asking for Public’s Help in Locating Elderly Woman Last Seen in Hempstead

Missing Persons Squad reports the details of a Missing Adult that occurred on Monday, February 19, 2024, at 4:45 pm in Hempstead and reported to police on Monday, February 19, 2024, at 7:00 pm.
According to detectives, Sheila Black, 62, was last seen in Hempstead. She is described as a female black, 5’6” tall, 140 pounds, brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a blue scarf on her head, red jacket, light color shirt, dark pants and carrying a reusable Stop & Shop grocery bag. Her destination is unknown.
Detectives request anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact the Nassau County Police Department Missing Persons Squad at (516) 573-7347 or to call 911.  All callers will remain anonymous.
